Spray Tan Tips - Before
Before your appointment
DAYS BEFORE:
Well hydrated skin tans most evenly
Drink plenty of water
Apply moisturizers liberally
THE DAY BEFORE:
Exfoliate, get rid of any previous tan
Exfoliating gloves or baking soda with bodywash are excellent options
Shave, wax, manicure, pedicure
THE DAY OF:
Skin should be free of lotion, oil and perfume
Remove deodorant and makeup
Wear dark loose clothing after the tan
Most women tan nude, you should undress to your comfort level
Men must wear underwear or swim bottoms
Spray Tan Tips - AFTER
After your appointment
IMMEDIATELY:
Once you feel dry, change into dark, loose clothing and sandals
Wait 8 hours before showering for standard solution
Wait 4-5 hours before showering for rapid solution
Wait 12-24 hours before participating in activities that cause perspiration
AFTER TAN HAS DEVELOPED:
Rinse off remaining color guide with warm water and mild soap then moisturize skin
TIPS FOR LONGEVITY:
Avoid long, hot showers and hot tubs
Avoid extended time in chlorinated pools
Shave only as necessary
Drink plenty of water
Apply moisturizers liberally
